SalaryJob Description – Graphic Design Director, Packaging for Mass Market:
Working with sales team to create product presentations to buyers.
Todson Inc., a family owned, bicycle accessory distributor, around over 75 years, is looking for an individual to lead our packaging Design for Mass market private brand management, and execution. The ideal candidate must be able to work within the style guide of our mass market customers and their packaging team.
Responsibilities – Vision and Strategy
- Create brand architecture that will ensure impact, presence, effectiveness in communication, and brand consistency.
- Lead effective brand execution.
- Manage projects, production, and resource management throughout the development process.
Responsibilities – Tactical Day to Day
- Execute Graphic Design initiatives across various internal and external brands.
- Create innovative Package Design and structures, retail merchandising, and event signage.
- Conceptualize and deliver creative content including written, photo, and video assets to align with a brand’s voice.
- Editing and proofreading package marketing content.
- Prepare digital product pitch presentations.
- Assist with copywriting and editing a variety of content across mediums which include sell sheets, social media, presentations, product packaging, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with senior Management team, Product Design team, and Engineering/QA team.
- Manage and maintain project deadlines.
- Contribute to brainstorming meetings and the development of new ideas.
- Manage Production thru weekly meetings and provided weekly updates and summaries of item status.
- Identify & manage workload prioritization and resources (person responsible).
- Identify tasks required for each package including photography, illustration, 3d renderings, instructions.
- Identify structure type, dimensions.
- Identify any critical gating issues that would prevent production from moving forward.
- Schedule and track delivery of files to China
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic brand Design for Mass market retailers is required.
- Candidate must be fully proficient with the skills and understanding of the following, including but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience working on the following range of Graphic Design functions is a plus: Advertising, digital marketing, website content creation, social media platforms, and digital photography.
- This is a full time, hybrid position. Preference given to those in New England area within a commuting distance to Sharon MA.
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
