Graphic Designer

PRS Guitars is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our full-time, in-house Marketing team in Stevensville, Maryland, USA. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with the right experience to join a growing, first-generation company.

Summary of the Graphic Designer:

PRS is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our on-site Stevensville, Maryland based team. In this role you’ll work within our creative team (Director of Marketing, Creative Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, Social Media Coordinator, Videographers) to create exciting graphic and visual designs for our social channels, website, and various B2C and B2B communications. This role reports to the Creative Manager. This role is onsite and located at our Stevensville, Maryland factory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:•

• Transform creative concepts into awesome in-brand work

• Design digital assets for our website (blog, news / artist stories, product support), social media pages, video content, and branded campaigns

• Design print assets including event materials, product catalogs, brochures, and product literature

• Assist Creative Manager in developing noticeable and engaging content pieces for social distribution

• Assist as needed with on-site / off-site photo and video shoots

What you need to apply for the Graphic Designer role:

• 2+ years experience in a design role, or a strong portfolio

• Proficient with Adobe CC (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

• Savvy knowledge of design best practices for socials

• Manages time and deadlines well

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Juggle various projects and handle tight deadlines

• Communicates well and appreciates a "can-do" team culture

• Thrives in a dynamic work environment

What would be nice to have for the Graphic Designer role:

• Experience designing for both digital and print

• Experience designing for video (After Effects, Final Cut Pro)

• Knowledge of portrait and product photography

• Musician or ability to speak the language of guitar

• Experience working with a content management system and project management software

• Strong writing skills
