College Summer Intern - (Graduate)
Internship period: June 3rd- August 9th, 2024
Shift Details: M-F 8am - 4:30pm
About the Internship:
This position is intended for participants in an approved Graduate-Level College Internship only. The Graduate College Internship Program will provide interns with practical experience and exposure to various healthcare areas while assisting them with their professional and career goals. Interns will be placed in one of the three health system market locations and participate in functional department rotations and a 10-week project based on an identified business need in their assigned market. Interns will closely partner with a mentor, work on their assigned project, and attend professional development training.
This is a full-time, 10-week position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for partnering with assigned leader to complete a process improvement project, present findings to executive team and other corporate leaders.
Responsible for learning the activities and processes of the assigned department / unit of the organization by shadowing various positions of the department or performing the work assigned; assist various staff of the assigned department with routine duties.
Perform research activities that contribute to benchmarking activities of the department; assist managers or other staff with special projects, including attending meetings and other functions; and perform other duties as required.
Previous volunteer, intern or work experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a closely related field
