Job Summary:
We are seeking a Government Contract Manager for a contract opportunity. As a Government Contract Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing Government Contracts, writing proposals and contract acquisition. You must have experience working with government contract systems and excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate and compelling bid responses in a timely manner for a wide range of government RFQs, RFPs, and tenders
- Continuously monitor government procurement portals and market trends to identify relevant bidding opportunities that align with our products and services
- Develop effective bid strategies, including pricing, proposal content, and presentation, to maximize the chances of winning contracts
- Work closely with our Customer Service and Production teams to gather the necessary information and insights required for bid preparation
- Ensure that all bid submissions adhere to government regulations, compliance standards, and any specific requirements outlined in the RFQ
- Maintain detailed records of all bid submissions, outcomes, and feedback to inform future bid strategies
- Participate in negotiations with government agencies, if required, to secure favorable terms and contracts
- Provide regular reports on bidding activities, successes, and challenges
Skills and Experience
- Contract and proposal writing skills with background in government solicitations
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with negotiating contracts, sales, bidding, and pricing products
- Government contracting experience
- Federal Procurement System (FPDS)
- GSA Contract System OR
- SAM.gov OR
- Dynamic Small Business System (DSBS) OR
- Similar government contract experience
Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- 3+ years of prior government contract experience required
While this is a contract position, we have an on-going need to fill it each season. Successful fulfillment can lead to consistent future contracts. This position is very ideal for those who prefer to manage their own days and hours, while delivering weekly reports.
