Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Governance Knowledge Content Managerto join our team! In this role you will get to c ollaborates across the corporation leveraging tech-savvy expertise to develop, maintain, and optimize Parsons Governance Knowledge, ensuring the availability of accurate and up-to-date policies and procedures to support business operations and project execution.
What You'll Be Doing:
Document Approval and Publication : Facilitate system approval workflows, as needed; Perform a final white-glove review and approval of all documents prior to publication; Documents that do not meet minimum Governance Knowledge Management requirements are rejected and returned to Document Owners for correction.
Document Development & Process Improvement: Facilitate & support document development and improvement by Document Owners and their teams; Support content & process improvement initiatives from initiation to closure in collaboration with other Parsons stakeholders; Explore and harness the power of AI to streamline workflows, automate routine tasks, and optimize the overall document management process; Actively explore and implement innovative AI-driven tools that not only elevate the quality of content but also contribute to a more agile and adaptive knowledge ecosystem within Parsons.
System Administration : Facilitate requests and approvals for User Profile changes and document assignments; Monitor and manage timely completion of Annual Reviews; Monitor and manage aging workflows to facilitate timely review and approval of PPC content; Monitor Active User Count trends to ensure adequate licensing ; Coordinate with and respond to requests from the SOX Compliance Team ; Coordinate with system Vendor to identify, communicate, and drive implementation desired system enhancements
Performance, Training & Troubleshooting: Develop & facilitate training, manage required training to completion , and provide day- to-day support to all users; Be a champion for Parsons Governance Knowledge and the Policy & Procedure Center (PPC) – encouraging its usage and upkeep, and communicating across the business to promote awareness.
Policy Change Control Board (PCCB): Facilitate PCCB review and approval of new, revised, or retired policies.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate, e.g., supporting performance improvement and other Quality & Performance Excellence (QPE) department initiatives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
4-year degree in English, Communications, and/or Journalism, (or related field) and 12+ years of diversified and applicable experience is required, with at least 5 years of supervisory/management experience (or an equivalent combination of work experience and education).
Preferred: Experience in Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) certification, membership in a nationally-recognized Quality organization, experience in professional writing / journalism, system administration, teaching / training, corporate governance, and/or compliance.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a track record in various writing styles, a solid command of grammar, style, proofreading, editing techniques, and constant drive for clarity.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment. Must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in analyzing situations in business terms, i.e. ROI, cost per unit, etc.
Strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills. Ability to make public presentations.
Strong attention to detail.
