Google Cloud Devops Architect

Location:: San Jose CA – Onsite 3 day in office 2 days remote – Looking local candidate
Long Term Contract.
Job Summary:
The Google Cloud DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role will involve building and deploying cloud-based applications and services, as well as developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to support DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS offerings for Compute Instances, GKE, Google Cloud Storage, and Google Cloud Relational Databases, as well as expert proficiency in Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to support DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Implement and maintain security and compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with new Google Cloud Platform technologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Expert proficiency in Google Cloud Platform - Compute Instances, GKE, Google Cloud Storage, and Google Cloud Relational Databases.
• Expert proficiency in Jenkins, Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
