Job Description & Program Overview
Global Technology manages the critical systems and multiple platforms needed to maintain the enterprise's full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services in 33 countries.
This internship will be in the Business Management, Resiliency and Controls organization. Business Management, Resiliency and Controls drives consistent, end-to-end unified business processes across Global Technology including Business Controls, regulatory management, work distribution, resiliency and business continuity, and business enablement.
Candidates will support day-to-day functions including:
Gather and organize data to monitor and test the effectiveness of key Controls and status of mitigation and action plans
Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management
Prepare reports and data analysis in support of risk control activities
Interns will develop strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills throughout the internship
Internship structure :
Eligible students are enrolled at a Community College
10-week duration: June 17 – August 23, 2024
Minimum 30 hours/week, up to 40 hours/week during standard business hours
Unique experience based on interests, development opportunities, and business needs
Dedicated Intern Program Manager who offers an added level of support as a liaison among the line of business, the company, and the intern experience
Program experience:
Provide opportunity to develop skills through formal and on the job training
Establish peer and mentor relationships to provide ongoing coaching and development feedback throughout program
Participate in collaboration across teams to develop business acumen and gain exposure to multiple areas across the organization
Develop networking skills through connections within projects, intern-specific program, and engagement events
Establish goals and expectations for the summer through a formal performance development process
Qualifications
Required skills:
Currently enrolled as a student at a Community College
Must have demonstrated initiative and a focus on achieving knowledge, skill, and ability growth during the program
