Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivaled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals.Overview of RoleRothschild & Co's Equity Capital Markets arm ("Equity Market Solutions") sits within the Global Advisory division and serves as a critical part of the firm's overall offering, working closely with sector M&A colleagues globally. An analyst in the group will work across sectors on a broad spectrum of Equity Capital Markets transactions, including private placements, IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, common stock & convertible offerings, as well as block trades and other shareholder monetizations. The group has advised on some of the highest profile ECM transactions of the last decade, including Alibaba's $25 billion IPO (largest IPO ever globally), Spotify's $31 billion direct listing on the NYSE (advisor to two major shareholders), Ferguson's $23 billion listing transfer from LSE to NYSE, the Canadian Government's monetization of General Motors and multiple growth equity privates, IPOs, SPACs and stock offerings by consumer, healthcare and technology companies.Responsibilities* Assist in the origination and execution of Equity Capital Markets transactions* Draft client pitches and marketing materials, as well as associated internal documentation through coordination with internal and external resources* Support the team in coordinating transaction processes both internally and with clients, stakeholders and other advisors* Ability to work in a demanding environment while multi-tasking time-sensitive projects* Attend client meetings, industry conferences and external training sessions* Update industry databases and credentials* Adhere to all compliance regulations and confidentiality policies* Contribute to Rothschild & Co's unique firm culture, and recruiting, training and development effortsEducation and Qualifications* 1-2 year of Equity Capital Markets or investment banking experience within a top tier corporate finance advisor/investment bank* Bachelor's degree in Finance (or similar) from a leading academic institutionExperience, Skills and Competencies Required* Broader interest in Equity Capital Markets* Desire to work across industries, learning the businesses of multiple clients in different lines of businesses* Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills* Strong team-oriented and mission driven focus* Ability to develop long-term, professional client relationships* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Dealogic, FactSetExpected base salary rates for this role in our New York Office will be between $130,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

However, salary offers are determined on an individualized basis and are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
