Summary/Objective
To develop the effectiveness and efficiency of our sourcing and logistics activities, it is decided that we shall appoint Global Supply Manager within our Corporate structure to ensure we maximize value for the Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (CEIG).
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

- Identify key suppliers (Partner Suppliers) to the CEIG group and secure long term Global Supply agreements with them. This shall be on behalf of the whole CEIG group, and if logical, include the activities of other Nikkiso divisions.
- Work with all Functional Units to ensure there is a clear understanding of the components and activities that drive their cost and efficiency. Pool volumes and optimize costs and availability for the whole group.
- Assist the Functional Units to optimize the "Make or Buy" process when it comes to goods and services. Assist the Functional Unit Presidents in developing the appropriate business case which considers cost of capital, component cost and time to market.
- Develop and implement together with the functional units a professional SQA process for all key suppliers.
- On behalf of the CEIG Group, negotiate with the large global logistics providers and secure Partnership Agreements that optimize international and local logistics costs and performance.
- Assist the Functional Unit Presidents in developing the appropriate business case which considers cost of capital, component cost and time to market.
- Establish a global network of sourcing professionals that allows us to optimize our cost structure and leverage the competence of our suppliers in all parts of the world. Assist local management in developing global sourcing from lower cost countries such as India and China.
- Lead the Supply Chain Council and ensure we have fully transparent activities to develop the next generation of Supply Chain professionals within the group.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor a structed set of KPIs to measure both sourcing and logistics performance for all entities.
- Work with Functional Units and Plant Controllers to analyze and recommend annual updated standard costs for purchased parts.
- Assist in set-up of standard part number scheme across all CEIG Group.
- Assist in development and improvement of CEIG Group's T&Cs.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. International travel may be necessary.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher, is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- At least 10 years' experience in operations and Supply Chain management
- Strong commercial knowledge and experience required
- Power BI knowledge a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong systems and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong global acumen

Annual Salary: $100,574 to $147,666
