Position Summary:
- We have an excellent opportunity to join our growing customer solutions focused company on the role of Global Records & Information Manager.
- The successful candidate will be part of a team of legal and compliance specialists with a mission to deliver top-quality, strategic, cost-effective and creative solutions to mitigate risk.
- This role will serve as thought leader and principal resource on all matters related to Records and Information management, and will be expected to develop, implement, lead and manage.
- Privacy and Cyber team, reporting to the VP and Associate General Counsel responsible for privacy, cyber and commercial digital legal function.
- The ideal candidate will have outstanding team-building skills and direct experience in designing and implementing global compliance and records/information management programs, the ability to evaluate and develop a Global Records and Information management strategy, strong end-to-end process design experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a successful track record of building out digital strategies for Global Records and Information management and retention.
How you will impact:
- Lead the evolution and continuous improvement of Records and Information management policies, standards, procedures and performance measurements.
- Direct the transformation of Global Records and Information management programming to meet the challenges of a digital world and modern business management practices.
- Participate in the development of records management training programs.
- Support privacy and cybersecurity compliance and serve as a member of the Privacy and Cyber team.
- Partner closely with IT organization to build, monitor and maintain electronic Records and Information management architecture, including the design and implementation of electronic tools to support Records and Information management strategy and compliance initiatives.
- Advise and in some cases lead record-related document management system development, implementation, and litigation record-preservation systems.
- Ensure all aspects of corporate recordkeeping adhere to the relevant policy and applicable law.
- Manage other information governance professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to ensure their continued growth within Records and Information management.
- Execute cross functional project and program management across various areas such as IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any field that includes a focus on information management.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience working in Records and/or information management
- Records or information management certification (CRM, IGP and/or CIPP) preferred.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance (NARA, AIIM & CMMI guidelines) preferred.
- Experience implementing data retention in applications, including Microsoft Purview
- Familiarity with Iron Mountain Connect and Virgo retention schedule management software preferred.
- Direct experience in designing and implementing global compliance and records/information management programs.
- Successful history of building out digital strategies for Global Records and Information management, retention and disposal
- Ability to prioritize competing objectives in a fast-moving corporate environment.
- Outstanding team-building skills
- Strong end-to-end process design experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills with strong diligence
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with content management systems and databases
