Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and distribution of parts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts management processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of parts
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and procure parts as needed
- Provide support to technicians and service advisors in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including data entry into order management systems
- Developing sales strategies
- Monitor sales performance
- Manage productivity of Parts Department
- Maintain good working relationship with manufacturer
- Be an energetic leader and provide focus for your team
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Experience with order management systems for tracking and processing parts orders
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining inventory
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Knowledge of procurement management processes, including sourcing and procurement of parts
Qualifications
- Familiarity with CDK
- Proven track record of increasing volume of sales
- Must be able to work within and create a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, etc.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
