The Global Platform Manager, Chemical Management Services role is responsible for the Chemical Management Service process globally. This role will focus on translating customer need into business solutions. Deep CMS knowledge and expertise required, and strong customer relationship skills are imperative. You will lead a global team of twenty employees, responsible for $140M in Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountability for the global Aero Services platform strategy, direction, and MCS performance.
• Lead, foster, and communicate, an entrepreneurial team culture in achieving both corporate and platform goals while driving platform efficiency and operational excellence.
• Develop market forecasts, competitor assessments, annual budget, BSR process, market action plan, and establish/ communicate the long-range plan for the platform.
• Manage cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term profitable growth. (Successfully manage and coordinate with all Aerospace functions ensuring the level of service necessary to meet and exceed our customers expectations).
• Identify market opportunities including organic growth and acquisitions. Ensure entire organization is coordinated in the approach and vision.
• Understand market needs/ trends looking forward and effectively communicate them in developing initiatives to make PPG the number one choice for our customers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of science degree or equivalent with a good understanding of how IT can drive growth and performance excellence.
• At least 10 years of sales, marketing, and operations experience.
• Demonstrated successful staff management of team building in multiple disciplines (sales, customer service, business development, operations, IT, and quality).
• Strong business acumen demonstrated ability to make quick, effective decisions for the sake of resolving a crisis or navigating challenges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in publishing/writing reports, presentations and one to one negotiation. Strong interpersonal skills required, must be able to communicate effectively with all customer levels (executive to site floor personnel).
• Frequent global travel is required.
You will report to the GM of Aerospace Americas.
Starting salary $165,000
