Global Head Of Talent Acquisition

Avalanche Studios Group is expanding, and we're seeking a Global Head of Talent Acquisition to join our People team. You'll play a crucial role in our growth journey, leading an exceptional team of TA Partners within our creative environment. As a part of the broader People team, you'll set the direction and strategy for Talent Acquisition, executing initiatives that drive us toward our business objectives. Partnering with senior members across our organization, you'll comprehend their hiring needs and team dynamics to scale our company effectively. Your role involves ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining quality standards. In this position, you'll report to the Chief People Officer. You will collaborate closely with your direct team, HR Managers, and senior management across all projects and locations. You can be based in any of our locations (Stockholm, Malmo, Liverpool, NYC and Montreal).

What you'll do

• Understand the overall business goals and translate them into TA strategy and initiatives, executing on these to align with our objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 10+ Talent Acquisition professionals across multiple locations. Comfortable with leading distributed teams. Accountable for team performance and overall results.
• Contribute to workforce planning, partnering with senior leadership and stakeholders to align hiring and project plans strategically. Distribute responsibilities effectively within the recruitment team.
• Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions for continual enhancement of the Talent Acquisition function.
• Continue to build, oversee, and optimize end-to-end global TA practices, including strategies, methodologies, and processes. Identify areas in TA for improvement.
• Participate in improving overall Global HR processes.

Who you are

• You have previously led TA strategy execution, translating organizational goals into actionable Talent Acquisition initiatives.
• Track record of mentoring, coaching, developing, and cultivating high-performing, diverse teams across various locations, ensuring exceptional results.
• Experience in workforce planning, aligning hiring plans with project strategies through collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders, driving organizational goals.
• Extensive experience in refining and optimizing global TA practices, with a curiosity for enhancing methodologies and fostering operational excellence.
• Proficient in leveraging data insights to refine recruitment metrics, identify trends, and drive continual improvement in TA practices.
• Interest in, and understanding of broader HR processes.
• Our company language is English - so we expect you to be fluent in English, both written and verbal communication. Swedish is not a must.

This role can be based in any of our Locations where we have a studio. You'll find us in Stockholm, Malmo, Liverpool, NYC and Montreal. We have a hybrid working model, where you can work from home 2 days per week and one of our lovely offices 3 days per week.

Our Stockholm office is situated in Sodermalm, the beating heart of the city's game industry. It's a physical representation of our games - the lush vegetation of Just Cause and theHunter: Call of the Wild meets corroded metal straight out of Mad Max. It has everything you need to make it your creative base camp.
