Global Head of IFM
Job Description Summary
As the Global Head of IFM Service Line, this leader will be responsible for setting the overall strategy for the service line and ensuring day to day operational excellence. This leader will guide innovation initiatives (new product development, platform extensions/improvements) through the Global Occupier Services product development process from initial conception to first client launch. He/she will lead a team who is critical in bringing the best C&W has within IFM to drive exceptional client value every day. This role is instrumental in bringing innovation to market faster in a more effective and efficient manner. The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the US.
Job Description
Essential functions and responsibilities
- As the C&W thought leader, build and drive the overall strategy of the IFM service line in alignment with the overall vision of the organization.
- Develop strategy for new products/platforms, in conjunction with cross-functional teams to drive the most innovation and value-add for our clients by:
- Leveraging data, research and feedback to deeply understand client needs and opportunities
- Collaborating with Marketing, Finance and Standards to screen new ideas, including market and value-capture analysis
- Leading teams through all stages of the product development life-cycle (define, proof of concept, business cases, development)
- Accelerating the adoption of customer centric products by strategically engaging a selected group of clients or partners to pilot products
- Participate in sales pursuits as a subject matter expert on leading edge products and new/white-space areas for consideration
- Drive consensus decisions across the global C&W enterprise for all IFM products and services by partnership and alignment with all applicable business groups and/or regions
- Demonstrate differentiation and industry expertise in the IFM service line externally, collaborating as required to further progress white-space ideas within the industry; including:
- Actively demonstrating industry leadership through events, conferences, white papers and other external networking/marketing opportunities
- Relationship building with key clients and industry partners
- Oversee service line resourcing and leadership across the global C&W GOS platform
- Provide critical expert insights that drive the product marketing vision for all services within IFM
- Provide thought leadership across the organization to ensure successful client outcomes, including, but not limited to engagement in the following:
- New business pursuits
- Strategic account plans for key clients
- Delivery of consistent client outcomes within the IFM space
- Service line alignment during M&A activity from due diligence through integration
- Sponsor and engage in an internal feedback channel to share best practices, new product development, product marketing launches and other measures critical to the differentiation and value within the service line.
- Champion and lead the continuous evolution of our IFM product offerings, organizational alignment and value-driven differentiation
Education Requirements
- BA/BS degree;
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Tech or relevant field (preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of experience leading and managing inclusive, global teams
- 15+ years of experience in product development role in IFM or relevant industry
- Extensive familiarity with product design principles
- Ability to identify opportunities to introduce competitive products to the market

- Strategic thinking and ability to articulate the path from point of departure to end state and evolve as the world changes
- Proven success in strategy development and implementation across an integrated global or national service enterprise, with fluency in the language and principles of the industry.
- Deep industry expertise and relationships including technology enabled solutions
- Excellent written, oral, negotiating and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to represent a global organization to clients, the public, industry leaders, governmental agencies, and social organizations
- Detail-oriented with a solid ability to think and communicate strategically.
- Confident, innovative, and exceptional work ethic
- Superior relationship building and client management skills
- Ability to work across geographic, functional, and service lines in business development, product/service design and delivery, and subject matter expertise, exhibiting a "client first" approach.
- Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $340,000.00 - $400,000.00
