We're seeking a future team member for the role of Global Asset Safety US Lead to join our Securities Services & Digital Global Asset Safety team. This role is located in Houston, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, and Jacksonville, FL and is a HYBRID position.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure appropriate systems, processes, controls, and knowledge are fully embedded in the Securities Services businesses (Asset Servicing & Corporate Trust) in order to comply with Global Asset Safety ("GAS") corporate policy and local Asset Safety legislation in the US & APAC regions.
- Responsible for managing an effective Asset Safety governance and control framework, minimizing risk, and act as local Subject Matter Expert to the businesses. To include the implementation of robust, effective metrics monitoring both Business as Usual and Business Process Change, data analysis and oversight of US & APAC region continuous improvement / remediation efforts.
- Significant contributor to GAS governance forums and drive Asset Safety engagement with stakeholders and partner groups across US & APAC geographical regions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Preferably degree education: finance, business administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence outcomes and actions.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to draw logical conclusions and recommendations.
- Operational knowledge of BNYM key custody systems e.g. GSP preferable.
- Prior oversight experience advantageous.
