MarqVision is a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup founded out of Harvard, accelerated at Y-Combinator, and backed by prominent VCs such as Softbank Ventures Asia and DST Global. We offer an AI-powered intellectual property (IP) protection platform that helps brands automatically detect and remove counterfeits from global online marketplaces and social media platforms. Currently, global luxury brands and many large domestic brands are using MarqVision to protect and enforce their IP Online.
MarqVision uses its proprietary deep-learning-based AI algorithm to detect IP-infringing products online. We then use our bot-powered auto-reporting technology and legal expertise to take down infringements efficiently and effectively. Finally, we provide our customers with key performance metrics to help them improve their IP legal strategy using data. About the role - Sales Development Representative, APAC
Our Sales Development Representatives work to set meetings with global brands, from luxury to boutique street fashion, to solve their online and offline counterfeit challenges using MarqVision's innovative products and services. You will be working with the APAC Sales Leadership to help brands catch bad actors who are causing brands millions of dollars in fraud, lost sales, and diminished brand equity every year.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to build a pipeline for strategic accounts
- Identify key contacts for target accounts and prospect them using a personalized approach based on the contacts industry and role description
- Engage prospects across multiple channels including phone, email, LinkedIn, and more
- Add value by providing the right content for each opportunity, ie. case studies, presentations and event invitations
- Manage, track and report sales activities and results using Salesforce
- Meet daily, weekly, monthly performance metrics
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in lead generation in sales and/or marketing in APAC markets.
- You have the discipline to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- You've accomplished something you're really proud of
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills with Native level of English and other language will be a plus (Mandarin or Japanese etc)
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Have a high level of integrity
- Love prospecting
Bonus Points
- Experience prospecting into fashion, retail, and luxury brands
- Interest in or past experience within the Intellectual Property industry
- Passion for understanding and explaining technology
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- A quick learner with positivity, and a sense of humor
