GlassTech has several openings for glass restoration technicians. We are looking for detail oriented, dedicated people who would like to learn the art of Glass and Metal restoration.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform glass restoration to improve the appearance and clarity of windows and doors. Training is ongoing with opportunities for advancement.
Glass restoration includes the removal of staining, spotting, etching and scratches from windows and doors. Technicians must be willing to learn, possess the ability to multi-task, have an attention to detail and be respectful of surrounding work areas.
Must be able to perform the requirements listed below:
- Must be detail orientated and take pride in workmanship
- Must be able to complete training course
- Must be courteous and professional
- Must be willing to work on ladders and scaffolding
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work and travel to locations in Palm Beach, Martin, Broward & Dade counties
- Must have the ability to use power tools
- Must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must complete technique and safety training
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be eligible to work within the United States of America
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High speed polisher and buffer experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Automotive and boat detailing skills a plus
- Window cleaning experience a plus
