Job Description
Primary Talent Partners has a 6 Month Contract with one of our Telecom Clients. This will be a fully remote position.
The Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing data related to environmental and regulatory aspects and providing accurate, complete, and meaningful reports and analysis of such information which will be used for confirming/updating system data as well as for business management, reporting, and decision making. The Data Analyst works closely with the Regulatory and Environmental Compliance department and/or functional managers to confirm data accuracy and update corporate systems and reports, as appropriate.
Essential Job Functions
• Reviews environmental and regulatory data and related documents and reports.
• Confirms and updates data in corporate systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Identifies data meeting defined parameters and any data accuracy concerns.
• Provides reporting and analysis that is accurate, complete, and properly summarized.
• Responsible for extracting and summarizing data from corporate systems.
• Has basic knowledge of data bases, Google Earth, and GIS tools.
• Ensures project timelines are met, produces periodic status updates and reports, and ensures reports are timely produced for review by functional management teams.
• Analyzes data and investigates and researches anomalies. Works with department and/or functional teams to correct issues when identified.
Education/Certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Biology, Business, or related field is preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
• One (1) year of prior reporting and data analysis experience
Other Skills/Abilities
• Strong PC skills – excellent Excel knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to summarize large amounts of complex data into management reports
• Knowledge of data analysis software and tools
• Ability to problem solve to determine root causes of anomalies
• Understand and write reports using various software and tools
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
