Organization Overview
Girls Inc. is a national organization that utilizes research-based curricula and interactive activities to build mentoring relationships with girls within a pro-girl environment. Girls Inc. Programming supports girls' academic enrichment, health and wellness, and life skills development. Girls Inc. is open to all individuals who identify as a girl, non-binary, or any youth exploring their gender identity.
The GIGM Administrative Coordinator supports the Manager of GIGM with outreach efforts, data entry, program evaluation, and staff development opportunities. The GIGM Administrative Coordinator's responsibilities will also include assisting with event planning and increasing GIGM identity across GIGM program sites.
Requirements
Overall Duties: Assist Manager of GIGM with responsibilities data collection, training support, and event planning.
- Train Girls Inc. Program Facilitators in the Girls Inc. Experience, Girls Inc. National Identity programs, the Experiential Learning Cycle, and ongoing professional development training.
- Develop and maintain Compass 360 database, including creating standard operating procedures, training staff, coordinating data collection, and monitoring data quality.
- Develop and distribute outreach communication materials for a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate administration of Girls Inc. National's Strong, Smart, and Bold Outcomes Measurement Survey.
- Collaborate with Assistant Director of GIGM to implement program evaluation tools to assess the quality of Girls Inc. programming citywide
- Coordinate affiliate-wide outreach events (Ex: International Women's Day dinner, Speed Mentoring, Youth and family engagement events, and Job Shadowing Opportunities).
- Attend/participate in all Girls Inc. and Girls Inc. National program meetings, trainings, webinars, and professional development activities as requested by Assistant Director of GIGM.
- Attend and participate in center wide staff meetings and center sponsored events.
- Keep track of inventory of GI marketing items, event supplies, and program supplies. Repurchase items as needed.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to advancing the rights and opportunities of girls and young women.
- Prior work with youth from diverse backgrounds and/or youth with limited access to resources.
- Experience creating and implementing training for adult learners.
- Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.?
- Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, and use Outlook email/calendar, and Microsoft Office Suite to communicate and perform daily tasks.
- Entry level data recording and reporting skills.
- Ability to develop project management tools and processes.
- Ability to work as a team and maintain a positive work environment, support staff and enforce center/program policies consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a "startup" environment, or with a newly developed program
- Previous experience working in gender-specific programming.
- Data entry and event planning experience.
- Experience implementing prevention and educational programs including evaluation and fidelity protocols.
- Positive Youth Development program knowledge and philosophy.

Special Position Requirements:
- Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and good driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends in addition to business hours.
- Willingness to drive 15 passenger van after receiving an onsite van training session.
