Kwik Trip, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, and change oriented support coworker to join our Finance Department as a Finance Administrative Coordinator.
This position provides overall support to the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Department to facilitate the efficient operation of the department. Coordinate and execute activities to accomplish department initiatives related to accounting, tax, banking, credit, treasury, risk management and other administrative tasks for the department. Act as a liaison between cross functioning teams to ensure the department operates efficiently. This individual will preform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support administrative functions for the department
- Compiling, filing, and retrieving department and financial data
- Answering phone calls
- Distributing mail
- Greeting and registering visitors
- Facilitating meetings
- Creating and editing office memos and documents as needed
- Develop and support reporting requirements for all Finance departments as needed. Maintain and distribute weekly, period, quarterly and annual documents and reports.
- Execute Accounting processes for the department
- Coordinate meetings and projects to support Finance projects and initiatives.
- Be a liaison for the Finance departments and facilitate and coordinate communication as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate (2 year) Degree
- At least two years in an administrative/support role or equivalent experience and/or education
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of budgeting and accounting processes, financial terms and general accounting principles and practices is helpful
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Superior time management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects and assignments with meeting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Accurate/detail oriented
- Proven ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
- High level of professionalism
- SAP knowledge is a plus
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
