Administrative Coordinator
Community Support Program (CSP) - BHS
Hourly Range: $26.08 - $39.12
Job Summary: This Administrative Coordinator will manage ongoing services funded by Community Access to Recovery Services (CARS) to assure that appropriate and quality care is provided to the consumer. This role will also review provider service authorization requests and justifications for clinical pertinence and/or recommend alternate plans of care. The Administrative coordinator is responsible of conducting quality audits and providing technical assistance to the CSP provider network.
Job Duties:
- Conduct a review of service authorization requests, including initial, continuation, transfer, and discharge. Review health record documentation to discern if authorization should be approved or denied.
- Collaborate with contracted providers to ensure their clinical, technical, and programmatic needs are met. Provide training and phone support as needed.
- Develop, coordinate, and participate in measures to monitor quality services provided by the CARS community-based programs, including audits and review of documentation to match Medicaid requirements.
- Assist program leadership in organizing, attending, and running provider meetings held on a routine and ad hoc basis for programmatic oversight, collaboration, and training.
- Provide telephonic and walk-in support to clients and/or natural supports who are in the program or seeking to be in the program. Attend clinical staffing as needed as well as meetings with other system partners who may also be serving our client base.
- Partner with programmatic leadership to participate in Utilization Management/Utilization Review activities to ensure clients are receiving the right level of care, for the right amount of time, and are referred to other services and/or discharged as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current resident of the State of Wisconsin.
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree.
- At least three (3) years of recent experience providing prevention services for mental health and/or or substance abuse disorders is required.
