We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to our elderly patients, consistently demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass a criminal background check
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must have the patience, empathy, and compassion needed to care for elderly patients
Ability to work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
Create and implement care plans to meet patients' individual needs
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Observe infection control procedures to promote a safe environment for patients and staff
