SUMMARY
The General Office Clerk assists with assigned clerical duties and responsibilities.
Pay Range:
The General Office Clerk position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $20.00.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operates office machines such as computer, adding machine, calculator, scanner and copier.
- Scanning a high volume of sensitive documentation
- Maintain confidentiality
- Follows dealership policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of performing assigned responsibilities.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Keeps work area safe and clean.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skill and Ability to:
- Must be trustworthy of confidential information.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Perform detailed office support work accurately.
- Use computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
- Use initiative and sound independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Prioritize work and coordinate several activities.
- Organize and maintain accurate files and records.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy
- Working knowledge of scanning documents, a plus, but not required
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Comfortable working with repetitive processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
