Position Summary: The Restaurant General Manager reports to the Director of Operations, Restaurants. This position is responsible for managing the daily restaurant operations to achieve planned financial and human resource goals for the asset as well as operating within Company and brand standards. This includes maintaining the physical condition of the asset and protecting the owner’s assets.
Legacy Ventures Restaurants is based out of Atlanta Georgia. We have owned and managed assets from stand alone restaurants, boutique hotels, pubs and even a resort community. Our culinary experiences span Brewpubs, Texas BBQ, Coal Oven Pizzerias, Southern Influenced and even authentic Beer Gardens(Biergartens)! Essential Functions:
- Mentors, coaches and disciplines subordinate managers.
- Actively participate in the hiring, training, supervision and discipline of all restaurant staff.
- Provides a clear career path for subordinate managers, evaluates and provides goals based on the path for each manager every six months.
- Completes the final interview for potential hourly candidates.
- Oversees all administrative tasks and duties consistent with Human Resources.
- Ensures that all staff complies with assigned shifts and attendance policies.
- Verifies that kitchen staff follows all recipes and portions servings correctly.
- Knowledge of all preparation methods, ingredients, portion size for all menu items offered.
- Sets excellent customer service by following guest service standards.
- Responsible for overall labor, liquor, food cost to budgetary and inventory requirements as well as sales performances.
- Participates in maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program.
- Manages and motivates all staffing levels throughout shift.
- Oversees overall labor and food cost to budgetary requirements.
- Perform up to company standards on all audits.
- Maintains and role models all company standards and principles.
- Understands and demonstrates completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
- Management team understands and executes our culture.
- Standards are met or exceeded consistently by all staff.
- Provides motivation and direction to team.
- Communicates effectively using active listening skills, clear and complete expressions, and persuasiveness; keeps information flowing to the appropriate parties vertically (down as well as up) and horizontally.

Qualifications:
- Strong quality and consistency orientation required
- Computer proficiencies in Excel, Word, Outlook required
- Ability to memorialize standards, best practices, recipes and SOPs
- ServSafe® Certified
- Analytical ability and proficiency in math; ability to calculate margins, monitor profitability, and manage inventory
- Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors
- Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members
- Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills
- Must be flexible to work evenings & weekends, as needed
