General Manager

Ascend's General Manager will be responsible for leading the growth of our business across the state of Georgia. This is a critical role in our largest and most important market. The GM will be the bridge between Executive Leadership, Product Innovation, Operations, and Sales responsible for driving the P&L across Georgia. The GM will oversee our sales team in Georgia (currently 2 FTEs) plus our mobile team (currently 4 employees) and grow it to meet market demand. This team will be responsible for engaging with employers, managing wellness events, and meeting prospective customers where they are.
With Georgia being the hub of our innovation efforts, the GM will play a huge role in helping design new products to meet market needs and successfully launching those products. The GM will advise on product merchandising (including incentives) and sales support (including collateral, website,...) to drive product adoption.
As Ascend Medical's General Manager, you will:

• Build out an innovative and highly versatile sales team to meet the evolving needs.
• Oversee the revenue generation in our Atlanta market.
• Partner with HR to establish the foundations of a winning team.
• Establish a sales scorecard and regular reporting infrastructure to present performance to Executive Leadership and identify ways to advance performance.
• Develop a sales 'playbook' that captures best practices and enables continuous improvement/training of sales team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, other related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience, preferably in ambulatory clinic administration (ideally in primary care)
