SalaryThe Role:
- Prepare monthly journal entries across multiple entities focused primarily in Cash Activity
- Work cross functionally across departments to ensure various Non-AP Transactions are addressed in the GL Ledger during each month
- Assist with monthly close activities including financial reporting and fluctuation analysis
- Prepare schedules as required by audit and tax
- Reconciliation of payments applied to cash receipts
- Working with AR and Revenue Department to improve recording of Service Revenue
- Assist with preparation and improvement of monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with implementation of processes and control in accordance with SOX compliance.
- Special projects and other ad hoc assignments as assigned
Requirements Atleast 5 years of experience Relevant background in publicly traded automotive industry or manufacturing companies (preferred) Excellent MS Excel skills Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance. CPA preferred but not required Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
