City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. City Produce is supported by an amazing team of sales, customer service, procurement, and operations professionals.

We provide our customers with web order entry, continuous cold chain management and peace of mind when it comes to food safety. We work every day to drive consistency in the areas most important to our customers: Customer Service, Quality, Food, Safety, Reporting, Technology.

Opportunity to execute and improve the following areas:

· Locate and select the specific warehouse items to fulfill the customer’s order

· Assist with production line in factories including preparation & packaging of raw products into finished products.

· Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping of the specific production line and general area.

· Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies.

· Perform regular visual inspection of product and equipment.

· Comply with lockout/tagout guidelines.

· Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations.

Competencies, Education, and Skills to be Successful:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· Speak and write English satisfactorily

· At least 3 years of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a food processing and warehouse/distribution environment.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work with others in a team environment

· Active listening skills

Physical Demands:

· Stand or walk for long periods of time

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

· Frequent twisting and bending

· Work in cold and wet cooler environment for extended periods of time

Schedule:

· 1st Shift (6:00am-2:00pm)
