```Duties```
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper dental care techniques
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases or referrals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in the dental office
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
```Experience```
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with dental office operations and workflows
- Experience with digital medical imaging systems for diagnostics
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
