We're seeking an innovative Gas Turbine R&D Program Manager to spearhead the creation and enhancement of our New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and tools. In this role, you will craft impactful templates, harness market intelligence, conduct incisive business case analyses, and build financial models that drive our NPI initiatives. Your keen coordination skills will be pivotal in maximizing new product opportunities across our diverse operating units while ensuring existing programs are optimized. Your technical acumen will play a key role in upholding design process compliance across various NPI projects.

Job Description

Primary Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the NPI and Programs Director to oversee and streamline unit-specific NPI activities. Monitor, report, and facilitate coordination, ensuring projects adhere to plans and barriers are swiftly addressed.
- Harness market intelligence insights to fortify financial models and ROI analyses for diverse NPI projects. Your inputs will confirm strategic investments and uncover avenues for new product innovation.
- Create standardized processes and tools, encompassing financial models, business case analyses, and robust tracking/reporting mechanisms for all NPI endeavors.
- Contribute actively to the NPI process development evolution team, participating in the planning and execution of our overarching NPI strategy.
Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate engineering degree, MBA preferred
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive Gas Turbine experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role
- In-depth industry and product expertise, including strong grasp of technology/product landscape, industry trends, and competition
- Skilled collaborator with the ability to inspire and influence across various organizational levels, even without direct reporting authority
- Proficient in analysis and financial modeling, demonstrating a sound understanding of quantitative assessments
- Effective communicator with the capacity to articulate intricate concepts persuasively and comprehensively
- Adept and adaptable learner who thrives on tackling unfamiliar challenges
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
