Based in Arlington Heights, Chicago, AstroSystems Inc (ASI) is the US regional office of the Astrosys International Group (ASY). Headquartered in Hong Kong, ASY has regional locations in Australia, UK and USA. Engineering and R&D is centered in Australia. We design and manufacture the Microcoin and GBA brands of currency handling equipment, which are widely used for applications in the Gaming, Amusement, Vending and Car wash industries.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, we are currently seeking an industry-savvy Sales Manager for our US operations.
As the US Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the Group’s sales activities in the Americas, spanning the markets that we operate in, namely Gaming, Amusement, Vending and Car wash.
You will use your skills to manage the sales operations as efficiently and effectively as possible in order to maintain existing business, develop new business and identify market and product trends whilst delivering the highest level of customer support and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all sales activities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Pursue new business and sales opportunities
- Manage and supervise customer product and support activities
- Identify emerging market trends and shifts whilst being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Attend and supervise Trade Shows
Key Experience & Capabilities
- Sales Management experience
- Background in currency handling equipment is highly desirable
- Industry experience is highly desirable
- Having a technical background is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Strong MS-Office experience
