Alexander Ross Group is a full-service fundraising consulting firm that helps not-for-profit organizations fulfill their unique mission by bolstering their capacity to attract and retain philanthropic support. The firm is currently looking for a passionate and experienced Fundraising/Development Project Manager to join the team on a part-time basis to support firm clients and firm operations. This role is multifaceted, spanning administrative support for the firm and clients, and offering limited coaching and counsel.
Your Responsibilities will Include:Supporting Firm Growth and Operations- Provide marketing and communications support including management of website updates/accuracy, marketing collateral development, and client development initiatives.
- Provide writing, editing, and proofreading support for proposals and other marketing communications materials.
- Manage occasional event sponsorships.
- Identify and coordinate vendor and operations support resources (e.g, IT experts, software, etc).
- Coordinate meetings with client stakeholders and manage follow-up activities.
- Assist in tailoring and proofreading reports and presentations for clients.
- Attend and participate in client meetings/events, including documentation of follow-up needs and learnings.
- Gather insights or recommendations for development-related projects beyond our current scope.
- Participate in select client staff retreats and occasionally coach junior staff in areas of expertise.
- Passion for nonprofits and fundraising’s transformative impact.
- 5-8 years of direct Fundraising/Development experience, preferably including major gifts exposure.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability and a growth-oriented approach.
- Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and exceptional project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Highly collaborative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic circumstances.
- Part-time role: average of 15 hours/week, with potential for additional hours and pay increases based on performance.
- Ability to work remotely with some onsite/in-person meetings with team and/or clients.
- Competitive hourly rate of $55 - $75/hour based on experience.
