Description:
Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Downtown Chicago office!
As Project Manager at Ware Malcomb, you will report to the Office Director and be part of a creative studio that thrives on pushing boundaries, managing our clients, and leading a team. You will be responsible for the successful oversight of projects from start to finish including client interaction, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction services. You would be responsible for working with clients, leading consultants, and internal team members, developing contract documents, adhering to budgets, construction site representation and project closeout as well as overall client satisfaction. This role has flexible work options combined with the chance to contribute to our energetic design team that’s redefining creativity in the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
- Diverse experience including office, residential, mixed-use and/or retail project experience preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma
- Thorough knowledge of building codes and City of Chicago Building Department permit process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents
