Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Decision Services and is responsible for generating, maintaining, and executing test cases to support enterprise data analyses, reporting, credit modeling, and eligibility eco-system. This position supports customers within the department as well as those outside of the department. Other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibility
Support:
  • Work with project teams to identify and document test cases necessary to thoroughly test the solution that is being built (Data ETL, JSON/XML APIs, JAVA, AWS Services, Tableau ...)
  • Build/Execute the test cases within the tools provided.
  • Present the test results to the project team for User Acceptance prior to certification.
  • Work with the Credit Risk Model developers to promote and deploy the risk models through Bitbucket in preparation for them to be integrated into the decision engine.
  • Verify language on Adverse Action notices (NATSR) generated by decision engine are accurate based on the outcome of the underwriting.
  • Support Mock Services for third party data providers to be used by internal users for micro-service testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated regression test suite.
  • Work closely with the Project management team to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are sufficient for the project and ensure appropriate testing coverage.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to eligibility and underwriting decisions.
  • Define best practices and enhance existing testing platform and policies.

Education Required
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or other relevant field or sufficient experience in the same or related role.
Experience Required
Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostGres, MSSQL, Dynamo, Snowflake), data warehouses, data manipulation and presentation (Tableau). Experience using dBeaver, SQL Developer, AWS tools and Python are desirable. Experience testing JSON/XML APIs using tools such as SoapUI/LoanUI, Postman or other automation tool is preferred.
Knowledge Required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to a changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.
Physical Requirements
