Fund Accounting is a specialized division within Corporate Finance at Fisher Investments that closely collaborates with our Institutional teams to support strategic fund initiatives and financial analysis requirements. The team also interacts with various Accounting units in Corporate Finance and other divisions within the organization.
Exciting Opportunity:
As the Fund Accounting Specialist, you will enhance your accounting skills through cross-training, taking charge of different projects, and serving as a point of contact for other departments to address inquiries. Each day presents new challenges. You will assist our organization and clients by delivering operational accounting assistance, preparing financial statements, aiding in global tax compliance, participating in a range of projects including investor inquiries — and more. You will be under the guidance of the Fund Accounting Manager, who will oversee your training and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the payment process for fund invoices
- Provide direct support in preparing and reviewing fund financial statements
- Take part in fund audits and contribute to periodic tax assessments
- Track and report team performance metrics
- Collaborate closely with different teams in the Institutional department
- Contribute to enhancing processes and automation through leading projects or offering suggestions
Your Credentials:
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Excel (ability to manage complex spreadsheets)
- Committed to upholding precision in task completion and meeting deadlines
