Exciting Opportunity:
Join us as the Senior EDR Engineer/SME/Scripter, where you will lead the implementation, coordination, migration, and onboarding of the SentinelOne Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution rollout. As part of our Infrastructure Operations & Security unit, you will be part of a dynamic information security team, using your expertise to maintain and operate complex information systems and security tools to meet our organizational mission and security needs. Your direct report will be to the Vice President of Infrastructure Security.
You will bring extensive experience in advanced cybersecurity tasks like conducting root cause analysis by correlating log sources to detect threat indicators using SIEM, firewall, and other security tools. You will also possess a deep understanding of the products underpinning critical infrastructure and business technology and be able to develop high-level summaries of existing and potential security threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee endpoint security solutions
- Monitor network and endpoint security systems for security incidents
- Conduct routine security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of endpoint security systems
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate endpoint security solutions into our security posture
- Research and recommend new security technologies
- Provide end-user training and support on effective endpoint security usage
- Participate in incident response efforts and stay informed on security trends
- Contribute to continuous tool and process improvements
- Report progress and system health through metrics and KPIs
- Communicate effectively on issues, risks, and recommendations
- Make suggestions for enhancing systems security and processes
- Create run books and policy documents
- Address the ticket queue and follow change management procedures
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading EDR technology adoption in medium to large companies
- Expertise in scanning software, security management, and audits
- 5+ years of hands-on SentinelOne experience
- 3+ years as a systems engineer in a medium to large company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Relevant security certifications like CISSP, SSCP, CISM, and Security+
