- Hours (Some Flexibility Needed): Monday-Thursday
- Must drive, must have experience with two young children and handling that dynamic, someone playful, warm, energetic, someone who takes initiative, someone who can help manage the house, keep things tidy, meal prep, laundry, both kids are in school so there is down time, housekeeper comes weekly so focus is childcare, taking them to activities, can set boundaries but is playful and engaging, parents work a lot so someone very reliable
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as educational games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and educational activities to support learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up toys and cleaning up after meals
- Follow any specific instructions or routines provided by parents regarding the care of their children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in babysitting or working in a daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize the needs of multiple children
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
