Form of workA lovely family of 3 living in Lower Manhattan, NYC is seeking a Weekend Nanny to care for their 18 month old son. The position will begin May 4th, and will continue through to December, as the family will then travel to Florida for the Winter. The position is for approximately 20 hours, spread across Saturday and Sunday. The family live in a Duplex apartment, and are flexible with this being either a live-in or live-out position, a bedroom and private bathroom will be available.
The family also have a lot of travel, both planned and unplanned, between May and December where they will be travelling to Connecticut for 1-2 days over a weekend. The family will arrange the nanny's transport to Connecticut. They also have plans to travel to Shelter Island over some weekends during the summer months. The nanny should be flexible and comfortable travelling with them during this time.
The nanny will start at around 8am each day, but there is flexibility, and for some of this time the parents may take their son out to the park, etc. During this time the family would like for the nanny to help with any grocery shopping, meal prep, and/or cooking for the family. It is important that the nanny has good knowledge of NYC and is confident when taking their son out to the park, activities, etc.
