Full-Time Health Room Paraprofessional - Onalaska High School

The School District of Onalaska is seeking a health paraprofessional (Health Room aide) for Onalaska High School. Health paraprofessionals, under the guidance of a nurse, fulfill a variety of medical and non-medical duties in the school health office. Such duties commonly include providing first aid, caring for students with acute illnesses, and scheduling basic health screenings and assessments.

No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested. Great benefits including health insurance!
Qualifications: A minimum of two years (48 credits) post High School education, or an associate degree preferred. If two years post High School is not achieved, applicant will take and pass WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment. This test is paid for by the district.

CPR and First Aid certification required. The district is willing to work with qualified candidates to obtain this prior to start.

Start Date: as soon as possible
Wage: $19.93/hour
