Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse, Urgent Care

Job Summary:

As an Emergency Room Nurse in an Urgent Care setting, you will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients with urgent medical conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, triaging patients, administering medications, and working closely with physicians to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Triage patients based on severity of condition

2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

3. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures

4. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs

5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

6. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment options

7. Document patient care in electronic medical records

8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives

10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Registered Nurse license

2. 1+ years of experience in Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting

3. BLS and ACLS certification

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work well under pressure

6. Attention to detail

7. Ability to prioritize and multitask

8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

9. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices

10. Ability to work in a team environment
