Hours: 8 hours per day / 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m. Monday through Friday.
Qualifications: Must have valid Driver's License. The successful candidate should have similar work experience performing daily custodial tasks. Be in good health and physically able to perform duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs daily custodial tasks of cleaning building and maintaining grounds and equipment, utilizing proper cleaning procedures
2. Performs duties as assigned by building principal, buildings and grounds director and lead building custodian
3. Inspects building and grounds and corrects or reports any unsafe conditions
4. Checks fire alarm system as required by law and reports any deficiencies to the building principal or immediate supervisor
5. Reports acts of vandalism and person(s) responsible to building principal
6. Presents a neat appearance and professional manner at all times
7. Establishes good rapport with pupils, administrators, staff and public
8. Is punctual and follows building schedule
9. Attends custodial workshops and demonstrations when requested
10. Is knowledgeable about school policies
11. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
12. Assumes other duties as may be assigned
