Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Overview:

TABS, Inc., provides assistance and guidance to foreign companies when starting or expanding their business in the U.S.,. TABS currently has offices in New York, Humble, TX and The Netherlands. Due to our recent growth, we are seeking a full-time bookkeeper who will be working under the direct supervision of a Senior Bookkeeper to manage finances for existing and prospective clients. A qualified candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The candidate also must be able to work independently and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Full cycle A/R & A/P
• Post Payroll Entries & Bank Transactions
• Maintain accurate financials records
• Provide support to the Senior Bookkeeper
• Provide Finance Administration Support
• Communicate with clients on information needed to perform bookkeeping tasks
• Perform Miscellaneous Job Related Duties as assigned

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Great communication skills as this person will be communicating with clients on a regular basis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Experience with other accounting software (Xero & Dynamics 365) a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented
• Self-starter
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual in Spanish or Dutch is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
