Full Charge Bookkeeper

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in . As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a key role within our organization, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Duties: - Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements - Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues - Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with relevant laws and regulations - Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries - Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices Experience: - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) - Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles - Experience with account reconciliation processes - Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry - Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax regulations - Solid understanding of financial concepts and terminology - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
