Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial records and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in various accounting software.

Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- 10-key typing skills
