Sterling Behavioral Health Services is a dynamic, mission-driven behavioral health, fully telehealth office dedicated to providing patients with effective psychiatric healthcare. We are looking for Full and Part-time Therapists and Psychologists. LCSW, LPC, PsyD. We are also in need of a candidate that performs psychological evaluations and testing primarily for children and adolescents. We are hiring candidates with experience with adults and children.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Conducting initial consultations to gather patient information
- Assessing patients’ emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them.
- Asking questions and listening to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings.
- Leading patients through mental exercises and role-playing activities when beneficial.
- Counseling and advising patients on issues of importance to them
- Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis.
- Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
- Maintaining detailed confidential records
- Testing if applying for that role.
Qualifications
- MUST have your license to practice in the state of Virginia.
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree
- Being credentialed with insurance payers is a plus
Skills
- Strong oral and organizational skills.
- Computer skills for charting, scheduling, emailing, and communicating with administrative staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- The use of an EMR is helpful but not necessary.
New and seasoned therapists are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $1,096.00 - $1,410.00 per week
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
