About This Opportunity
We currently have an opening for a Fuel Products Scheduler. In this role, you will monitor and maintain targeted terminal fuel inventory levels to supply our retail stores and customers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain target fuel inventory positions at various supply terminals. Take action to manage inventory levels in established bands to provide security of supply while minimizing working capital requirements.
- Optimize financial benefits in relation to supply and terminal related costs to drive maximum profit. Identify and work with Commercial Traders to take advantage of market opportunities to reduce costs and/or maximize value potentials within the system.
- Forecast and nominate volume requirements on a timely basis to multiple suppliers and for various modes of transport, as applicable.
- Daily interaction with external suppliers and terminal and pipeline operations to manage supply requirements based on current demand and contractual commitments. Responsibilities include bulk scheduling via waterborne and/or pipeline movements, balancing terminal positions and monitoring rack allocations.
- Daily interaction with internal departments (Management, Accounting, Pricing and Field Operations) to prioritize, reconcile, communicate and mitigate supply disruptions and/or take advance of market opportunities.
- Work closely with Transportation Schedulers, Carriers and other internal and external counterparts to verify execution, identify efficiencies, resolve supply issues and maximize profit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Previous product scheduling experience preferred (Rack, Bulk, Pipeline and/or Waterborne)
