We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations at our medical office. We are a high energy, fast paced chiropractic office. Full time position with some flexibility in scheduled hours.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient care
Skills:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is a plus but not necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient in using office equipment and phone systems
- Bilingual also a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Training will be provided to educate you on our software and procedures
