JOB SUMMARY: Our Front Office administrative professional is responsible for greeting and checking in patients upon arrival. Assist patients to the treatment room and coordinate their visit with the appropriate provider in an efficient and pleasant manner while being a bridge of communication between patients and providers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience
· Must have at least 1 year experience in an administrative/ reception position
· Must have at least 1 year experience in a medical office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Telephone Calls & Scheduling: Serves as the primary individual responsible for answering telephone calls to the practice with enthusiasm and a “happy to help” attitude. Use the scheduling program to book new appointments, reschedule, and/or cancel appointments.
· Office Triage: Greets each patient warmly upon arrival, determines needs, and ensures efficient transfer of care to the correct room or to other staff members as appropriate.
· Confirmation of Patient Information: When checking patients in, confirm patient information is accurate and up to date at every visit. Accurately records any updates or corrections with either a change of address form or name form.
· Monitoring of Waiting Room: Regularly checks patients in the waiting room to ensure each is comfortable. Reassures patients subjected to excessive wait times and informs clinical staff of status as needed. Ensures furnishings, brochures with labels, and photobooks are restocked, orderly and clean. Checks that departing patients appear able to travel safely from the office.
· Pulling and Filing Charts: We utilize paper charting at our office. Charts need to be pulled and prepared with proper paperwork that correlates to each patient’s specific visit, and charts will be alphabetically filed during downtime.
· Clerical Duties: Strictly adhere to HIPPA policies with no exceptions. Provides assistance in medical chart preparation and maintenance, scheduling, data entry, and other tasks as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
