We are looking for an experienced Front Office Coordinator.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
· Be a problem solver and a team member that helps remove barrier to care
· Greet patients and checking them in as they arrive for their appointments
· Take ownership of the schedule in order to meet our daily and monthly production goals. Put the schedule as your number one priority if it is not full the day prior
· Accurately obtain new patients’ insurance information correctly to avoid future miscommunications or billing issues and add to the management system
· Be able to quickly enter diagnosed treatment and create accurate insurance estimates.
· Answer patient concerns about the procedures to get them to actively schedule the required treatment and address post-operative questions
· Prepare and start-off morning meeting
· Have good phone skills with current patients and be able to convert email, text and phone inquiries into scheduled new patients
· Know ADA/CDT codes that insurances will pay and submit claims electronically with appropriate attachments (x-rays, photos, narratives)
· Minimize the need to collect patient balances with accurate insurance estimates and timely follow-ups, thus increasing patient satisfaction
· Follow up with outstanding claims with insurance companies
· Ability to manage and maintain an overbooking management to leave room for emergency patients, waitlist management to handle cancellations, and an effective recall system that utilizes the patients management systems already in place
