Front Office Coordinator

Come join our physical therapy clinic which has been home to the Alamo/Danville/San Ramon area for 30+ years. We are an outpatient orthopedic and sports based practice in need of a full time (30-40 hours/week) Front Office Coordinator . We have 2 clinics which are both located in wonderful communities and we work with an excellent patient population. This position would be required to be able to go between both offices.

We are looking for an energetic person to who enjoys a cohesive staff and office environment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Answering phone calls
• Screening patient information
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Patient check-in/out
• Insurance authorizations
• Miscellaneous office duties as assigned

Qualification and skills:

• Insurance knowledge - someone that has experience and understands the different types of Insurance (you need to be able to verify coverage)
• Strong communication skills with staff, physicians and patients
• Comfortable learning and working with EMR software
• Good problem-solving skills
• Prior experience as a medical receptionist
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records a plus
