We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and dedicated Front Office Receptionist to join our family. We are a Comprehensive General Dental practice with friendly staff, up-to-date technology, and an eye-catching work space. Located near the Pearl Brewery, San Antonio, TX.
We are known for our commitment to patient care and excellence in dentistry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional Front Office operation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and handling cancellations through our practice management software.
- Answer incoming phone calls, providing helpful information, taking messages, and redirecting calls as necessary.
- Verify and update patient information in the practice management system.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Assist patients with understanding and filling out consent and medical history forms.
- Coordinate with dental staff to manage daily schedules and ensure timely patient flow.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a patient-focused attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
